About Mark K. Lathem

For more than 30 years, Mark K. Lathem has provided trusted legal advice to businesses, developers, lenders, investors, and property owners throughout Ontario. Since establishing his Richmond Hill practice in 1994, he has continuously maintained an office serving York Region while also spending more than a decade practising commercial real estate and business law with respected commercial law firms in Toronto's Financial District.

Mark's practice focuses on commercial real estate, residential real estate, commercial lending, land development, secured financing, corporate and business law, and wills and estates. Throughout his career, he has represented Canadian financial institutions, developers, corporations, entrepreneurs, and private investors in matters ranging from residential purchases to sophisticated commercial acquisitions, financing transactions, and development projects.

He has regularly acted on commercial real estate and financing transactions valued from approximately $5 million to more than $100 million, advising clients on acquisitions, sales, commercial lending, refinancing, development lands, commercial leasing, and complex financing structures. This experience allows him to provide practical, strategic advice on significant commercial matters while bringing the same attention to detail and personal service to every client.
